Growing up in missions all my life has been one of the most thrilling things that has ever happened to me. At a very young age, the Lord placed the love and passion for missions in my heart. I have sensed this calling on my life for as long as I can remember. I know the future is going to be challenging, but missions is where God has given me a passion and desire.

Here is a little bit about me

Hello everyone! My name is Alexa Albury and for those who do not know much about me, I want to give you a glimpse into my life being raised as an MK. My parents, Richard and Andrea Albury, are the founders of Camp Bahamas Ministries. Although I have been a part of this ministry my entire life, I graduated high school and am now working for this ministry to teenagers living in the Caribbean.

This part of what my job holds is probably one of my favorites

I love being able to connect with all of our amazing campers and counselors as we seek to disciple them in their faith. We seek to mentor and encourage them throughout the year. I am responsible for the structure and managing of this aspect of our camping ministry.

Assistant Administrator

One Step at a Time

Many hours in a week are spent supporting administrative functions at Camp Bahamas. I am able to use things that I'm gifted in such as organization, management and communication. There is much work that goes on behind the scenes to make Camp Bahamas a success.

Hosting groups

Helping The Community

One of my many jobs here at Camp Bahamas is helping out with hosting groups such as mission teams, church retreats, school retreats and events. I really get excitied to see teams come here for a cross-cultural missions trip experience and see the vision for this Camp and this country come alive in their hearts!
