2022

Hey everyone! Happy 2022!

It has been a fantastic year so far! My year started off in America ringing in the New Year with family and friends. Shortly after, I was surprised with the gift of attending the Passion Conference!

PASSION CONFERENCE: What an experience!

It was my first time going to Passion and I have been wanting to go for years! My life is forever changed. 67,000 people worshiping the name of Jesus was unbelievable. It was a glimpse of what heaven will be like. God was stirring things in me and I am so refreshed. The two days have made me so excited to embrace this year of full time ministry and for all that lies ahead!

JANUARY: A MISSIONS FILLED MONTH

It was G R E A T to be home at Camp again after a trip to America! From the second my feet hit Bahamian soil, I was overjoyed. I had two short days to finish up some prep for our first group of 2022.

January was filled with Mission teams and mentoring these students! It feels good to be back in the swing of having groups in after the slower season caused by Covid in this country. Rod Straw was here for the month as well. For those of you who have ever worked alongside this builder and missionary during your mission trip to Camp Bahamas, you know there is something special about being apart of the “Rod Squad.”

Preparing the CB property with reinforcements and making every part of camp even more beautiful is well underway, going strong towards the upcoming summer camping season!

LOVING DISCIPLESHIP IN 2022

Being the Discipleship Coordinator is an honor I don’t take lightly. Now that I have entered a new year, I have prayed about what message God is leading me to speak over our counselors and campers. I know it is the powerful but simple discipline of prayer that I must be even more committed to. I want to seek out their needs and matters of prayer continually, to be a constant source of encouragement in their daily stressful lives.

THANK YOU!

Thank you all for your prayers, support, and encouragement in the last month! It does not go unnoticed. I continue pursuing God’s calling in my life because of those who have partnered with the things God is doing in the Bahamas.

Prayer Challenge

1. The CB Team - vision and hope for 2022 as we serve together at Camp.

2. Our Campers and Counselors - They need daily encouragement to rely on Jesus and make it through this semester with continued Covid related restrictions.

3. The CB Needs- from mission groups, school groups, sports groups, and church retreats, to resources and partners that help make this 24-acre Camp the best place for the best campers to encounter God!

4. For my role as Discipleship Coordinator - That I will have clarity and direction in encouraging our campers and counselors.

CB is Non-Profit and staff is missionary supported. Here is a helpful giving link for those called to fill that need as I am missionary supported https://give.cornerstone.cc/campbahamas
