Hello everyone! I thought it was time to update you on what has been going on in my crazy, exciting life where God is working! Since our New Years term of Camp ended, CB EXIT, we have had many groups in such as senior trips, mission teams, church, and school retreats. You can almost say that it has been non-stop, but I have loved every second of it. I have seen God time and time again move through the ministry by providing me and the entire CB team with our needs and fellowship. It is amazing to see the moments we have given our all to something, and then God comes through and makes it flow into something bigger than we could do on our own. My parents say “Doing missions here is like being on the moon.” That is true of life on an island in a lot of ways. Access to things we might need or desire are a challenge. So anytime that we get the opportunity to open our doors, making new friendships and investing in old ones, we take up every ounce we can! We are better together.

May-September is literally non-stop. We will be having back to back groups, Mission teams, events and our 6 summer terms of camp!

Planning for CB Summer 2019 began right after our New Years Camp ended. We have been talking over, making improvements, and shifting to make this summer the BEST one this country and Bahamian youth have ever seen! I live to be a part of this process. Most people do not realize how much behind the scenes work actually has to happen to make camp be “camp”. Some of it is very tedious, but we continue to push through because we know the end goal is going to be amazing and well worth it! When you are passionate about what you do and you know that God has called you there, the hard becomes easy with God’s help.

I do not look at my role as a job, because I very much enjoy what I do as the discipleship coordinator. I continue to love contacting our campers and counselors face to face or through social media to stay connected and encourage them through their daily lives. Our relationship with them is the reward. It is extremely encouraging to see what God is doing in their lives outside of camp!

I know this summer is going to bring great moments with experiencing and seeing all that God is going to do, I pray He uses me and all of the other counselors that I'm going to be working with. There is nothing like seeing Jesus come in and meet them where they are and completely change their lives. When someone experiences Jesus for the first time, for who He really is, that is one of the most incredible things to ever witness. Just talking about this is giving me so much excitement and joy for the next few months!

As God continues to lead me, I love that you are on this journey with me! I would most definitely appreciate your prayers for this summer of Ministry.

Prayer Requests:

1. Trusting God with all the ministry needs of finaces and partnering with Christians in doing this work.

2. Strength to do everything with excellence!

3. Camp will be a place of revival for all campers this summer.

4. Physical safety for all counselors and campers.

5. That I will continue to hear God and His leading over my life.

I am so thankful for all of you and what God has allowed to continue to happen through you. Without you, I would not be able to do what I love! Thank you so much! The best is yet to come! See ya soon!
