I recently turned 22! That is weird for me to say, but I am so blessed and thankful for this life I have been given. I can't wait to see how this 22nd year unfolds!
I have been growing and flourishing more in who I am, filling myself and allowing the Lord to really move in my life. Life is full of ups and downs, but I am not letting the “cons” that could and will come my way pull me down.
It is honestly incredible to me that God brings everything together when I just give Him all the parts of my life. And he brings them together for GOOD ( Romans 8:28).
2022: MISSIONS & MINISTRY
Our most hectic and busiest season is here!
My job at Camp Bahamas in Administration and Discipleship Coordinator has been a constant fast pace this year. We have had an insane amount of people come through our gate since the new year, and I LOVE it! From school retreats, to mission trips and everything in between, we have built relationships and served alongside group after group making new friends and reconnecting with “older” friends.
Currently, we are wrapping up summer mission teams as we prep the camp site for Bahamian campers.
2022: CAMP BAHAMAS IS FULL!
You read that right!
We are having Camp this summer and it is FULL! This has been the fastest we’ve ever had to close registration because camp is already filled for the summer.
We have been working countless hours to prepare all the details and things that go into pulling off a summer of camping ministry. We flew to Nassau and got to connect with some of our staff and campers and I think it's safe to say everyone is excited!
Camp Bahamas is running from July 3rd-July 31st. That is four weeks of having our favorite campers and counselors filling this camp to its fullest!
Thank you all for your prayers, support, and encouragement in the last month! It does not go unnoticed. I continue pursuing God’s calling in my life because of those who have partnered with the things God is doing in the Bahamas.
Prayer Challenge
1. The CB Team - As we prepare ourselves for a Summer of serving both mission teams and our summer camp.
2. Our Campers and Counselors - That God will start working in their lives, softing their hearts to what He wants to do in their lives this summer.
3. The CB Needs - from mission groups, school groups, sports groups, and church retreats, to resources and partners that help make this 24-acre Camp the best place for the best campers to encounter God!
4. For my role as Discipleship Coordinator - That I will have clarity and direction in encouraging our campers and counselors as I am stepping in summer ministry.
