Hey everyone! I'm back after an extremely rewarding summer!
SUMMER CAMP
5 weeks of having the best leadership, counselors, and campers. 5 weeks of some of the deepest connections and discipleship. 5 weeks of life-changing decisions being made everyday. 5 weeks of what true joy feels like. This past summer of 2022 is honestly one of the greatest summers of my whole camp-filled life.
What was CHASM? The theme we shared with campers showed that no matter where they are on their journey, Jesus is Lord. He is the answer to all their questions and problems. He came to bring peace to the chaos of the culture and calm their doubts.
Ephesians 2:17“And He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near.”
Being able to spend my summer with our campers and counselors and being able to share the truth about this verse over their lives was such a privilege for me. Waking up and realizing I had the opportunity to discipleship face-to-face was exciting and I absolutely loved every minute of every day. I am planning on sharing some of those stories all year long through this blog.

SZN 1
Our CB SZN 1 is Septeber-December. This Season brings a change of pace that is refreshing to the soul as we leave the busiest SZN of the year and embrace the new. We plan and prepare for next 12 months of ministry. We went to Nassau to connect with many of our campers and counselors in their real lives, and spent quality time as a family, including my sisters who live abroad.
For me, being the Discipleship Coordinator for Camp Bahamas is one of the greatest jobs to have. Our campers and counselors are the reason my role exists. Having time in person through the ministry of summer camp has strengthened connection with them and filled my schedule with encouraging and supporting them as they pursue Christ and live out their new passion for living for Him.
YOU DID IT!
I want to take a little paragraph of this blog to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this ministry this year in prayer, financially or with your time by coming to Eleuthera to serve alongside us.
THANK YOU. You are a blessing to me! I get to do this because of your love for Jesus and your love for the Bahamian people! The partners of CB are the real reason this ministry continues!
Prayer Challenge
1. The CB Team - fall retreats hosted at CB.
2. Our Campers and Counselors - God is definitely moving in their lives so please pray for us to guide them as they live out their faith at home and school.
3. The CB Needs - resources and friends that partner throughout the year to make this 24-acre Camp the ultimate setting for campers to encounter God!
4. For my role as Discipleship Coordinator - boldness, and clarity as I disciple our campers and counselors.
