Since summer ended, I have been trying to take life moment by moment. Doing that has made me feel refreshed and ready to face whatever my day may bring. To pause to remember His faithfulness and look back on ALL that He has and is doing.
With that being said, it is time to catch you up on my life on the mission field!
LIFE ON THE MISSION FIELD
I have been aware of God’s faithfulness to me and Camp Bahamas more than ever these past two years. It is mind-blowing to me to know when my team walks out on a limb of faith, fully trusting the Lord with it all, He does BIG THINGS.
Life on the mission field is not an easy thing to face many days. There are details that are challenging, leaving me hot and tired by the end of a work day. But, every day I am also experiencing the reward of lives being changed and hope being shared with the young generation growing up in this country. I would not trade this missionary life for anything.
DISCIPLESHIP COORDINATOR IN FULL SWING
{Discipleship Coordinator: to create a ministry that encourages prayer, spiritual growth, and a desire to be disciples of God.}
Staying in connection with all of our CB Family is such a privilege for me each week. One week could look like connecting with 50 campers and 3 staff members through multiple facetime calls, phone calls, messages, or in person. The message might come in different packaging, but it is always hope for their future. I remind them that the best is yet to come because of Jesus.
ENDING 2021 WITH A BANG
While programming, discipleship, admin projects and facility improvements are ongoing, I will connect with some of you as I see some CB friends in the US in December. Seeing you face-to-face is a highlight!
Thank you for supporting the mission of Camp Bahamas. It is a privilege to serve here with your encouragement. Thank you for seeing how valuable your heart is for Jesus and for the gospel to be spread in a country needing the hope of Jesus. Thank you for praying for and believing that the best is yet to come for the youth of the Bahamas. Lives are being saved, hope is being restored into families and churches and it is all because you are part of the process. I continue pursuing God’s calling in my life because of those who have partnered with the things God is doing in the Bahamas. If you know God wants you to be involved in a specific way by serving or sending prayers or support, you can always click the link in the “Partner with me” section! See ya next year!
Fall 2021 Prayer Challenge
The CB Team - vision and hope as we serve together at Camp.
Our Campers and Counselors - Although many got to come to camp this summer, many were not able to due to covid restrictions in Nassau. They need daily encouragement to rely on Jesus as most of their schools are only online at the moment.
The CB Needs- from mission groups, school groups, sports groups, and church retreats, to resources and partners to help making this 24 acre Camp the best place for the best campers!
(CB is Non-Profit and staff is missionary supported.)
A few pictures of projects, good moments, team work and discipleship!
